OuterSpaces will be hosting a stall this year. Come say hi to the team!
“We’re excited to be to welcoming our extended queer whanau, and members of the LGBTTQIAF+ community from all around the world, attending the ILGA World Conference at the Michael Fowler Centre.
Out in the Park is Wellington's Queer Fair, an annual event for all LGBTTQIAF+ people, their whānau and friends. It’s an all-day event featuring stalls, food, entertainment, and fun in the sun! Come celebrate the diversity of our capital!
There is an amazing line-up of over 30+ acts of live music, spoken word, poetry, drag, comedy, cultural performances, singing, dance and everything in-between from local talented rainbow folks! And we’ve had over 60 stalls apply! We’ll be using the space creatively to get in as many stalls as possible while still having a park and community feel.
And make sure to join the Pride Hikoi traversing from Waitangi Park at 10am to Civic Square & Jack Illot Green to open Out in the Park at 10.30am.
Out in the Park is organised by Out Wellington Inc, a group of community elected volunteers who produce the Wellington Pride Festival. The Wellington Pride Festival, Tū Whakahīhī e Te Whanganui-ā-Tara celebrates our LGBTTQIAF+ community with a jam packed two-week-plus programme of diverse events, performances and activities organised by groups within our community.
A special thanks to all of our sponsors including Wellington City Council, Hell Pizza, Wellington Community Trust, New Zealand Aids Foundation, Rainbow Wellington... and you! “
